Welcome to Ortstravaganza! Two weeks of random-ish free cross patterns to download. Sometimes a cross stitch design idea will come to me and I will make a pattern but it doesn't fit anywhere in the schedule or there wasn't enough in the idea for a whole week of free cross stitch patterns.
These go in what I call my Ort cloud. They sort of sit there on my computer until I think of something to go with them or can develop the idea further or, like right now, I just can't wait to publish them.
So for the next two weeks all the free cross stitch designs won't have a particular theme (although this week is fairly nautical) but they all would make super gifts because most of them are small to medium sized. They cover a wide range of skills as well. So if you are looking for a challenge or just a quick and easy cross stitch pattern there is bound to be something to suit you!
Today we have a NATO phonetic alphabet flag cross stitch pattern. It is sort of a funny one. If you know your nautical alphabet flags you can see that this says "Hey Sailor".
Don't know as there is much more to say about this nautical flag cross stitch design. There are lots of fractional stitches here so it is a good challenge for any cross stitcher and would make a great cross stitch gift for the sexy sailor.
