Welcome to Motivation Monday! I have some ideas kicking around for some motivational cross stitch designs and, rather than cramming them all into a single week, I thought I would release them every so often on Mondays. A great way to start off the week!
As I talked about a couple of weeks ago, I do a lot of stuff to maintain my mental health. I am also a, ahem, woman of a certain age and want to make sure that I maintain a healthy body for life. One of the things that helps me is weight lifting. It is really great for the body and mind. It makes you strong, gives you confidence, and can deliver really visible results if you are consistent.
IF YOU ARE CONSISTENT!
Anyone who lifts is sure to appreciate this free weight lifting cross stitch pattern. It's not going to curl itself. I literally have this written on a dry erase board in the room where I work out (which happens to also be the room where I eat and cross stitch and do lots of other stuff), because there are days that I just don't want to do it. Biceps are probably my least favourite thing to work on. I have weak bony girl arms (that are a lot stronger than they used to be!)
The trick is just to start. Motivation comes afterwards. Those stupid biceps aren't going to curl themselves! This free motivational cross stitch design is really versatile as well because you can switch out any of the colours to suit yourself.
