Hello happy friends! As you can see I have leaned into the cactus theme this week. I have a soft spot for the cacti. For some reason I was obsessed with them as a kid. As a reward for getting good grades, my mom got me a cactus garden that lived on the windowsill in my bedroom. There were all sorts of them. The best part about them was how they just sort of grew new ones of themselves.
Today's cross stitch cactus has some good advice that I have been ignoring recently. Stay Hydrated folks! Most people are actually woefully under hydrated or even dehydrated. For some reason I got out of the habit of just having a big glass of water four times a day. I am trying to be more mindful of this and have been making sure to get my fluids. Water is definitely best.
This cactus cross stitch pattern is a reminder that even the toughest and hardiest of us need to take care of ourselves. Cacti need water. Not a lot of water. But they still need water of some sort to thrive and be healthy.
So don't forget! Stay hydrated! You will actually feel like a different person once you get into the habit of being fully hydrated. And you will definitely feel the worse for skipping that water break.
