I cannot believe it is nearly December! That is just four months since Hancock's House of Happy relaunched! And this week I am very excited about the new free cross stitch patterns for you to download.
I know you are probably all familiar with the concept of silhouettes and cross stitch silhouettes that are filled in with repeating patterns. I have never really done a design like this so I challenged myself. Mostly these sorts of silhouette cross stitch designs are animals. Like cats or elephants or whatever. And they tend to be flat. The cross stitch silhouette is filled in with a cross stitch repeating pattern in one colour variation.
So I started thinking... what other sorts of things could one wall paper in cross stitch? The result is a whole week of geometric pattern cross stitch silhouette designs.
Today's cross stitch silhouette is a set of pretty cross stitch floral pattern cutlery. I used the same floral cross stitch pattern in two colour variations to show highlights.
