Hello happy friends! January 25th was Chinese New Year and, growing up in a community with a large Asian population this was a festival that my own family regularly observed. So this week we have five free cross stitch patterns celebrating the lunar new year and the Year of the Rat. I will be honest, Chinese New Year was mostly about food for me. Many of the free cross stitch patterns coming out this week feature Chinese food in cross stitch. But it was also about all the colours and parades featuring friendly dragons and fire crackers.
My family usually marked Chinese New Year by going out for a Chinese meal at the Red Ruby. Or we would sometime get takeout. In my entire life I have never had Chinese take out come in a box like this Chinese take box cross stitch pattern.
