Bathroom Break! Five Free Cross Stitch Patterns for Jazzing Up Your Smallest Room with Some Pretty, Snarky, Cross Stitch.
Hello happy friends! We are kicking off another theme week here on Hancock's House of Happy. And the theme is Bathroom Break. All of this week's free cross stitch patterns are designed for your decorating your bathroom/powder room/ shower room/ outhouse or whatever you call your smallest room. Here in the UK it's Loo, WC, Water Closet, or just plain old Toilet. There are a few snarky cross stitches but it can be made optional in some cases and there is a wide range of styles.
If it's yellow, let it mellow. If it's brown, flush it down. If it's any other colour you need to see a doctor about that! Maybe you are in a place where water conservation is a huge concern (arguably it should be a concern everywhere but that just isn't how that works) and people need reminding that flushing every time isn't necessary.
Here in the UK low flush toilets are the norm and it always sort of surprises me, when visiting North America, the amount of water in the bowl and the amount of water used per flushed! Even though that is totally what I grew up with.
That being said, this bathroom cross stitch pattern might not have such a big audience here in Europe but I know the sentiment is still very prevalent in Canada and the US. I've just added a bit of snark at the end.
This is also a pretty small cross stitch pattern for your bathroom. Only about 60ish stitches across. On 14 count aida that is less than six inches which makes the pattern perfect for a smaller bathroom!
I was not able to include the symbols for this chart because it completely obscured the back stitching. However, the colours are fairly easy to see in the chart so hopefully you won't have trouble with it.
