It's Coffee Week! A whole week of cross stitch designs celebrating this delicious and bitter liquid made from what can only be described as magical beans.
To kick off a whole week of free cross stitch patterns based on coffee we have Basic Black. Which is my favourite form of coffee. A pure and simple cup full of unadulterated drip/filter/press is a simple pleasure, but one that is hard to beat with just about anything.
This is a beginner friendly cross stitch design with lots of big blocks of colour and a limited colour palette. But it packs quite a punch with its bold and blocky design that makes me think of hard boiled detective stories and smokey diners.
