It's day four of Space Week! A whole week of astronomy, space, and planet themed free cross stitch designs to download.
Today we have an ultra-modern style rocket ship cross stitch pattern free to download. This is maybe more science fiction than space fact but it is interesting to look back on what people thought space would be like in the future. All Flash Gordon and Buck Rogers, this free cross stitch design was inspired by the optimism of the 1950's serial matinees. Not manatees. Matinees.
This is a beginner friendly cross stitch design but would be enjoyed by an advanced cross stitcher looking for a break from a bigger project. It's a cute design for a kid's room as well if you wrap it up with some lego or a video for a gift.
