Time to take a look at what is coming up next week. January 25th marks the beginning of the Year of the Rat! Chinese New Year has always figured large for me because I grew up in a community with a large Asian population. Not being Asian myself, it was a good excuse to go to a parade, make lots of noise, eat lots of delicious food, and watch lions and dragons dance in the street.
