Hello happy friends! Don't know about you but this virus situation is getting me down a bit now! This week our government in the UK considered letting people have weddings again but only if there were ten or fewer people. I am not the wedding type myself but I love going to weddings and I feel so sad for those couples who had planned to get married this spring and summer. All that stress and work and effort for nothing.
Although, at the end of the day, what matters is that you get married. Not the big party. But let's face it, cancelling the big party is mucho bummer.
So this week I have a few free wedding cross stitch patterns that you can stitch up for a hitch up. I have gone for more modern and contemporary styles for these wedding samplers. A couple of them don't even have to be wedding related I suppose. There are also various sizes and skill levels so everyone will be able to create a wonderful cross stitch gift for the happy couple.
Today's free wedding cross stitch pattern is minimal and elegant. A simple clove hitch knot around which you can cross stitch the names and dates. It is a small knot cross stitch pattern with minimal colours that you can easily switch. You can have it stitched up in no time. The font used is one from Memorial Week last year.
