These free cross stitch bird patterns were inspired by some beautiful quilt designs I found on pinterest. They appealed to me because they are really good cross stitch patterns for beginners but also stunning in their design. So if you are a beginner cross stitcher, these will give you some very gratifying results for your skill level.
The cross stitch birds also don't use a huge number of colours and you could get very creative and make them all sorts of funky ways. Like have a Pinkjay rather than a Bluejay!
