Octoberfest! All whole week of free craft beer cross stitch patterns to download
It's Octoberfest all week this week at Hancock's House of Happy with five new free craft beer cross stitch designs. Craft beer is another passion of mine (check out my craft beer instagram @thebeerinreview) and it is October so Octoberfest seemed like a sensible thing to do!
I'm also starting to think about Christmas (I love Christmas and I am not sorry) and what people might be thinking about cross stitching for gifts.
This craft beer tap room sign was inspired by vintage pub mirrors. There are two versions for you to download. One cross stitch pattern has an antique mirror background (shown above) while the other free cross stitch design has a blank background.
I actually posted a poll involving this free beer cross stitch pattern on the facebook page because I could not decide which version to post. The vote was so close I decided to post both. Someone on there suggested that this would be perfect for working on a dyed fabric to get the antique look. It is a full coverage cross stitch if you decide to go for the mirror finish and that is quite a challenge.
If you decide to go for the blank background this would be a pretty quick cross stitch pattern to make up. And you can also change the colours really easily. I am sure it would look great in your tap room (or corner of the basement where the beer fridge is lol).
