Hello happy friends! We had a week of short and sweet designs so I thought I would balance that out with a week of sarcastic and bitchy cross stitch patterns for those of us who are, well, a little bit ambivalent about Valentines day. Being a plain Jane and rather odd fish I never got many Valentines as a kid (ugh they made us give them out in school wtf is that about?!) and it never really figured large in my romantic life. My partner and I think it's kinda dumb. If it's your thing then you do you but if you hate it as much as I do then maybe one of this weeks free cross stitch patterns will help you get your frustration out.
If you can't be with the one you love, be ambivalent about the one you're with. And maybe you are with Adequate. This free anti-valentine cross stitch pattern is along the same lines a You'll Do I suppose. This would be sort of funny if you did a matching cross stitch using just the word "adequate" and hung them together. Sometimes there is a lot of pressure in relationships to be amazing all of the time and not take the other person for granted. I personally try hard to support and help my partner but I think most of the time I probably just come up adequate. Which is ok. Being amazing 24/7 is exhausting!
