Hello happy friends! We had a week of short and sweet designs so I thought I would balance that out with a week of sarcastic and bitchy cross stitch patterns for those of us who are, well, a little bit ambivalent about Valentines day. Being a plain Jane and rather odd fish I never got many Valentines as a kid (ugh they made us give them out in school wtf is that about?!) and it never really figured large in my romantic life. My partner and I think it's kinda dumb. If it's your thing then you do you but if you hate it as much as I do then maybe one of this weeks free cross stitch patterns will help you get your frustration out.
Seems like a couple years ago I could not go into a women's bathroom in a bar or pub without seeing something that insisted life is awesome and that I should just cheer up. And I got pretty tired of Live, Laugh, Love. As you might have discerned by now, I have not the sunniest disposition and very little tolerance for trite sayings that really don't speak to my personality or experience! So I made this free cross stitch pattern for those of us who prefer to Languish, Lament, and Loathe.
The little flowers around this sarcastic cross stitch pattern are meant to be ironic but it actually turned out sort of cute. For which I apologise lol.
