Hello happy friends! We are kicking off another theme week here on Hancock's House of Happy. And the theme is Bathroom Break. All of this week's free cross stitch patterns are designed for your decorating your bathroom/powder room/ shower room/ outhouse or whatever you call your smallest room. Here in the UK it's Loo, WC, Water Closet, or just plain old Toilet. There are a few snarky cross stitches but it can be made optional in some cases and there is a wide range of styles.
I am not sure what inspired this bathtub cross stitch pattern. I think it was probably something that a few kids I went to university with might have seen in their houses. It was an abstract thought I had one day when considering what sorts of cultural norms other people live with. Everybody poops but the circumstances and surroundings certainly do differ depending on where you are (ever tried pooping in Germany? Those toilets are crazy!). Like on Jupiter, what would Jupitonian moms be cross stitching for their bathrooms that is a problem with kids on Jupiter.
If you want to amuse and confuse your guests this bathtub cross stitch pattern will certainly do so. Unless taxidermy in the bathtub is a problem for you. In which case it hopefully cut down on all that fur clogging the drains.
