Odd Oddments! Five Free Sorta Summer Themed Cross Stitch Patterns to Download for Free.
Hello happy friends! Hope you didn't miss me too much last week. I had to take some time off but we are back with five new free cross stitch patterns to download this week.
I am not sure that there is really a theme this weeks. These free cross stitch patterns are loosely related with ideas of Summer and Cuteness. But they don't really hang together as a group so I am calling them odd oddments lol.
Today's free cross stitch pattern is a delicious summer treat. You know, I can't really remember the last time I had an actual Popsicle (or Ice Lolly as they say here in the UK) and I don't know why. I loved them as a kid. There is a lime Popsicle in this Popsicle cross stitch pattern because that was my favourite flavour. I love lime flavoured things in general. And the other Popsicle cross stitch is something I remember from some time my family spent some time in Australia in the 1980s. Australia had AMAZING ice lollies. There was one called a Cola Rolla and it tasted just like Coke and lime.
The only difference between this lime Popsicle and the ones I remember is that the ones I had as a kid had two Popsicle sticks so you could break them in half to share or to save for later. Does anyone else remember that? Do they still make Popsicles like that?
This is a plain but pretty cross stitch pattern. I like the colours and you can change them to reflect your favourite Popsicle flavours. It would make a colourful addition to any room in the house and give you a welcome reminder that though winter maybe cold, it will be summer time again soon.
