This free gecko cross stitch design is a few years old and was inspired by a story on the news about an experiment some Russian scientists were conducting in space.
Basically they sent some geckos into space to see if they would get it on. Apparently they did. So now we know that geckos enjoy the sexy time in zero Gs.
How this helps the human race I have no idea but it certainly was not good for the geckos because they all died as a result of being in space. Which I thought was rather sad because I love geckos. This gecko is of the Hawaiian variety which are so very colourful and run around everywhere there. They like to hang out outdoor cocktail bars and lick the tables where people have spilled sweet fruity drinks. A lifestyle I think we can all aspire to.
This is a very easy cross stitch pattern for a beginner. You can leave out the text as well. It's a small cross stitch design but also so cute and colourful and quick to do. I can imagine a Christmas tree covered with these little guys.
