Hello happy friends! How are you all hanging in there. I hope you enjoyed last week's Odd Oddments. This week we have a similar jumble but tied together with the fact that they are all fairly small, quick, and easy cross stitch patterns. I see a lot of requests online for small things to send people because none of us can go visiting these days. We are all missing grandparents or parents or close friends who aren't that far away but we still can't just get in the car and go to see.
I thought it would be nice to have a week of free cross stitch patterns that would help you make something small and meaningful to send people you are missing and who are missing you or who are feeling lonely and isolated.

This is Francine. Francine used to live in the burbs with her mom and dad (Wendy and Nick). Unlike her brother Nick Jr. she decided to skip the whole higher education thing and go find herself in India.
She didn't find herself there but she did find a millionaire Bollywood producer named Sandip which was just about as good. But with her mom getting divorced and taking up with toy boy Lance, Francine wants to come home to support Wendy. Obviously she is not too keen on moving IN with her mom and is now looking for a fashionable up-market place. Seems to me that YOUR place is fashionable and up-market. Especially that shabby chic end table in the living room. That would be PERFECT for Francine. She doesn't eat and hardly takes up any room. I bet you have a friend who has a particularly trendy shelf in the bathroom where she would feel at home as well! |
