It's day two of Space Week! A whole week of astronomy, space, and planet themed free cross stitch designs to download.
Today we visit the mysterious planet of Caturn! This is one of those cross stitch designs that look so good in my head but are extremely difficult to execute effectively in practice. Not my best work but it's still kinda cute.
I was thinking of doing all of the planets as cats like I did with the Sushi Cats cross stitch patterns but I had so much trouble with this one that it probably won't happen. Need to go away and have a rethink about how I would do it. Maybe some day!
This would be a good cross stitch pattern for an intermediate beginner. There's no back stitching but there are a lot of colour transitions and similar colours.
To be sure any cat lover or space geek would be chuffed to get this planetary cross stitch as a gift.
